Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year at Jefferson Elementary School! On behalf of our entire team, we hope you and your families have had a safe and memorable summer!
It seems like just yesterday we closed the book on an outstanding 2016-2017 school year, and now we’re ready to begin an exciting new chapter. Our team has been hard at work these past few months preparing for our students to return at the end of August. Another year of new learning adventures and engaging educational experiences awaits!
In the office, Mrs. Arnold has worked tirelessly to ensure that this will be the best year yet for each of our students and their families. Meanwhile, thanks to the seemingly endless efforts of Mr. Krause, Mr. Buchman, Mr. Jones, and our summer helpers from Emmaus High School, our building looks better than ever. Simultaneously, our talented teachers are putting the finishing touches on the classrooms in which our students will thrive both academically and socially.
We look forward to welcoming back all students in kindergarten through fifth grade on Monday, August 28th. Students may be dropped off starting at 8:45 AM, at which time they will report directly to their new homerooms. Our day will officially begin at 9:00 AM and students will be dismissed at 3:20 PM.
For those who choose to buy lunch in the cafeteria this year, student lunches will cost $2.40 ($2.75 on Domino’s Pizza Day). Breakfast, served daily from 8:40-8:55 AM, is $1.15.
Thank you in advance for your support in the coming school year. If we can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact us at 610.965.1645.
