In a plea for their favorite vegetable-based soup product, a group of frustrated seventh graders has been attempting to bring back tomato soup which has been banned by the East Penn food services department. By writing their messages on tiny pieces of paper, and slipping them into the suggestion boxes, the students have been peacefully rioting for their delicious lunches. Come join them by writing the words ‘Tomato Soup’ and placing them into the suggestion bins so all students can once again experience buttery cheese sandwiches and hot savory soup. There could be multiple reasons that the school district has outlawed the deliciously warm-and-cozy delicacy, one being the high sodium content or other slightly unappealing health outcomes, but the more realistic reason is that the district is trying to destroy the spirits of children by taking away their only joy! Obviously, it’s probably the sodium, but if food services can sell ice cream, potato chips, and other delicious and potentially just-as-unhealthy snacks, then they should be able to sell tomato soup! Help bring back the tomato soup, and encourage your peers to submit ‘tomato soup’ slips into the LMMS suggestion boxes!
