Students in grade 8 received the 2020-2021 Program of Studies books today during homeroom. This was provided in advance of course selection for next year, and will give you time to talk with your child about courses he/she is interested in taking next year. All 8th grade students and parents are invited to attend the Guidance Information Night on January 8th from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Emmaus High School Auditorium. Students interested in LCTI should see Mrs. Shirvinski in the LMMS Counseling Office for an application for LCTI. All completed LCTI applications are due back to Mrs. Shirvinski before February 11th.
Students will be receiving teacher course recommendations and will be meeting with high school counselors during the week of February 5th. In addition, we ask that you complete the back inside cover of the Program of Studies in preparation for Course Registration day, which is scheduled for the week of February 11th. That is the day designated for students to complete their initial course requests in our PowerSchool system for the 2020-2021 school year. Should you have any questions about the recommendations your child receives next week, we invite you to reach out to your child’s teachers directly. More information about Course Registration will follow after the winter break.
