Please take special precautions to prevent illnesses. Here are a few tips to keep our students, and their families, healthy this season:
¬ Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer
¬ Cover your cough & sneeze
¬ Stay home if you are not feeling well-we don’t want you spreading those germs
This includes diarrhea, vomiting, severe coughing, suspicious skin rash, flu-like symptoms (temperature greater/equal 100, cough, sore throat, body aches, headaches, chills, & fatigue)
¬ Get your flu shot- it not only protects you but it also protects those whom you come in contact with that may experience complications if they should contract the flu.
Here are a few of our school guidelines for illnesses:
Fever: Students may return to school when they are fever free for 24 hours, <100 degrees F without the use of fever reducing medications such as acetaminophen.
Vomiting: Student should be able to eat without vomiting for a minimum of 12 hours before returning to school
Let’s try to have a happy & healthy school year!!
