Wescosville Elementary will hold our classroom Halloween festivities next week, and students are permitted to attend school in costume on Wednesday, October 28th, and Friday, October 30th.
Should they choose to participate, students in our A cohort may wear costumes on Wednesday, October 28th. Students in our B cohort and our fully remote learners can wear costumes on Friday, October 30th.
Students should arrive at school already dressed in costume, and costumes should be easy enough for students to independently navigate throughout the day. Please note that we will not be able to wear Halloween costume masks due to our current face mask requirement. Students must still wear a face mask regardless of their costume of choice. Additionally, students may bring their own bag with party snacks ( no nut products please) and any planned activities within the classroom will occur at the discretion of each teacher and with the limited amount of face-to-face time we have with students this year in mind. Be on the lookout for further information from your child’s teacher.
Due to current guidelines and restrictions, our annual costume parade will not take place this year as it has in years past, and no volunteers will be permitted. We hope to resume our previous traditions next fall. We very much appreciate your understanding and continued support during these unprecedented days!
