Dear Wescosville Families,
We hope you and your families are safe and healthy as this unprecedented school year draws to a close. We miss all of you very much and can’t thank you and your families enough for your flexibility and unending support during these extraordinary days.
Our faculty and staff are currently in the process of packing up classrooms and gathering student materials to be returned to you the week of June 8th. Student items will be placed in a bag and labeled for you to pick up according to the schedule below:
- On Monday, June 8th, Tuesday, June 9th, and Wednesday, June 10th, families who did not borrow district-issued technology are scheduled to reclaim student belongings by homeroom and alphabetically by last name.
- To ensure access to distance learning activities through the last day of school, students who have borrowed district-issued technology since our school closure began are invited to return devices and pick up student belongings simultaneously on Thursday, June 11th, and Friday, June 12th.
- Families needing to pick up prescription medication will be contacted directly by our main office team with a scheduled pickup time for either Thursday, June 11th, or Friday, June 12th. At that time, you will also be able to retrieve your child’s belongings.
If you have multiple children attending Wescosville Elementary School, please plan to pick up all of their materials on the date and time designated for your youngest child. If you have multiple children in the same grade but in different homerooms, please come at the earlier of your scheduled times. In addition to retrieving personal items, please also be prepared to return all district-owned materials, such as iPads and chargers, Chromebooks and chargers, WiFi hotspots, library books, intervention materials, etc.

Prior to arriving if you can take a piece of paper and write your child’s last name and homeroom in big letters to be put on your dashboard that would be extremely helpful. When you arrive, families are asked to pull straight in on Liberty Lane. Please turn in the first entrance to the parking lot on the right (car drop off entrance). You will pull up along the sidewalk as far as you can. A team member will come to your car, look at the name and homeroom that you have displayed on the dashboard. They will then retrieve your child’s belongings and bring them back to your car. Please pop your trunk and we will place the items in there for you. If you are returning any library books, classroom owned supplies, or materials please have them in a bag labeled with your child’s name and homeroom. These will be collected in a basket from your car window.

Also, families of fourth and fifth graders that are not continuing and have already received authorization from both the music store and their teacher are encouraged to drop off their band instrument during the scheduled period for the exchange of personal and technology items. Your instrument must be cleared of personal items and be clearly labeled for return with the appropriate information. You do not need to return your book or music stand, just the instrument. If you have not received authorization, DO NOT drop off your instrument. You will be charged for the amount of time the instrument is not retrievable. String instrument returns go directly to Montero’s Violins in Emmaus, do not leave at the schools.
