Shoemaker Elementary School and the community as a team, will teach students how to learn while providing academic opportunities and direction so that every student will achieve his/her highest potential and be prepared for life in a changing world. ATTENTION PARENTS
Student Drop- off and Pick-up Procedures Reminder: We kindly would like to remind parents to pull into a parking spot and walk their child to the building if their drop-off procedure is going to be lengthy. Traffic patterns have become increasingly dangerous as parents go around each other. Drop-off in the morning is designed to be quick and efficient and due to the length of time some of our parents are taking, it creates other students to be late. Please park car and use crosswalk to pick up children as well.

Pennies for Patients: The Community Service Club collected Pennies for Patients ! Congrats and THANK YOU Shoemaker! You raised $1000.00 for Leukemia research! This will help children and adults who continue to fight Leukemia like our Shoemaker Hero and fifth grade student,Dominic. Congrats to Mrs. Finnegan's class who collected the most pennies and therefore won a pizza party!

Did you also know that we earn money for paper that is dropped off at our school in the green and yellow recycling bin?

READ ACROSS AMERICA
PAWS for Reading sponsored by the East Penn Education Association...PAWS will feature reading therapy dogs, a police officer and his dog, crafts, face painting, doggy daycare, and other activities to celebrate Read Across America. The high school cafeteria will be the location on Saturday, March 6, from 10 to 12, and the cost is $4 per student and $6 per adult.
