Our fifth graders had the pleasure of speaking with author Alyson Gerber this afternoon! Many students ordered the next book in her series, The Liars Society🗝️Thank you to Mrs. Alfano for setting this up for us! What a special experience!📚🤩
💙Our fifth graders at Shoemaker School collected items for the dogs and cats at the Sanctuary at Haafsville this holiday season! Out of all of the kiddos who donated, these lucky ones won an opportunity to go visit the puppies today! Look at all of these happy faces!😃
Tahlia, Gabe, Alex, Ralli, Garrett, and Ben enjoyed their time at the Sanctuary! A big thank you goes out to Sara, Ben’s mom, for setting this up. Happy holidays!🎄🐶🐈

I absolutely adore this! Not only did you all make a difference in the lives of those puppies, but those puppies made a difference in the lives of those kids! Teaching skills beyond the classroom. #shoemakerproud
