Recycling
at Wescosville School:  Wescosville School has 2 recycle bins located in the main parking lot for the recycling of paper.  For more information, log onto
www.PaperRetriever.com or visit the W.E.S. Go Green Initiative webpage.

W.E.S. collects Box Tops for Education!  Carefully cut out the box tops along the lines indicated on the package and submit them with your child in a clear plastic bag.  Make sure to have your child's name and classroom on the bag.  The PTO will be collecting the box tops through out the school year.  For more information on the box tops visit
www.Wescosville.Homestead.com.

Classroom Celebrations:
The policy regarding classroom celebrations at W.E.S. has been updated.  As of the '10-'11 school year we will no longer allow edible treats.  Individual teachers will determine and communicate their classroom procedures for birthday celebrations ~ on the day of the specific birthday, one celebration per month for all of the kids in the class, etc.  However, ALL treats will be non-edible ~ stickers, pencils, bubbles, etc.  Any edible treats will be sent to the office and will require parent pick-up.  Throughout the year, Mrs. Desiderio may make exceptions to this policy for special events ~ for example, Halloween or Valentine's Day.  Such exceptions will be made in writing prior to the event.

Parents should have ID with them when picking up their child at the pick up area or at the office.  Also, if parents are having someone else pick up their child a note should be sent in stating who is picking the child up and they too should have ID with them.

Wescosville School uses Bethany Church at 1208 Brookside Road, Wescosville, PA 18106 as their emergency evacuation site.
