Alburtis Elementary School Principal

Hello Alburtis Families! Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

Team Alburtis is very excited for all of the adventures that await us this school year!  It is hard to believe that this is the start of my 28th year in the East Penn School District and the start of my 9th year as the Principal of Alburtis Elementary School. Many years ago when I was a kindergarten student right here at (the ‘old) Alburtis Elementary School, I never dreamt that my path would someday lead me back into this very school. It feels good to say that I am truly at home here at Alburtis Elementary. As an educator, I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade in East Penn at a variety of Elementary Schools. Prior to planting my roots back at Alburtis,  I  had the privilege of being the Principal of the Lower Macungie Kindergarten Center and also Jefferson Elementary School. Teaching and education have always been my passion!

Alburtis is an incredible school filled with stellar teachers and staff who are all dedicated to making a difference in the lives of all of our students. We are dedicated to building a community of readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, artists, musicians, problem solvers, collaborators, communicators and critical thinkers! Alburtis students are true scholars!

Team Alburtis has planned many exciting events, activities and adventures for the 2024-2025 school year! Together, we will make some pretty incredible memories. Our school mascot, Alburt the Eagle will make special appearances throughout the year! Alburt brings comfort and joy to all while encouraging us all to always do our best!

Here at Alburtis Elementary School, we are very proud of our School Wide Positive Behavior Program! We celebrate the successes and accomplishments of our students each and every day in many ways! Our amazing students, teachers, and staff  S.O.A.R. like the Eagles that we are!

S-Strive for excellence
O-Own our behavior
A- Act responsibly
R- Respect others

This year we are embracing the mantra of… Together, we are better! So, let’s do this…Let’s make things better, together, this school year!
