Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at Jefferson Elementary School! It is an honor and a privilege to be your principal. On behalf of our entire team, I’d like to take this opportunity to greet our newest Jefferson Eagles and welcome our returning families to what promises to be the best year in the storied history of this special school!
In the coming days, weeks, and months, we look forward to working with you and your families to build upon the incredible foundation that every member of our school community works so hard to solidify at Jefferson day in and day out. We’re confident that you’ll find Jefferson to be a positive learning environment where students, families, faculty, staff, and community members feel safe and supported, love spending their time, and have the ability to maximize their potential in their respective roles. We’ll form strong and genuine relationships, focus on character education, foster collaboration, use data to drive high-quality instruction that is both rigorous and relevant, and implement differentiated strategies to personalize the learning experience for all students. Overall, our goal this year will be to make every day better than the last and to do so with kindness and respect.
The 2018-2019 school year marks my third year at Jefferson, my twelfth overall in the East Penn School District, and I’ve never been more proud to be part of this incredible community. We hope you’ll visit us between North and Elm Streets in Emmaus to celebrate our students’ many successes with us. Additionally, please like our official Facebook page and follow @EPSDJefferson on Twitter for regular updates on what’s new and exciting at Jefferson.
In the meantime, please let us know how we can support you and your families. If I can personally be of any assistance, my door is always open. Please feel free to stop in, call me at 610.965.1645, or email me at email@example.com. This is such a special place, and I’m honored to join you on your Jefferson journey again this year. We’re all so thrilled to soar into the new school year with you!
