Good morning Jefferson Families,
Unfortunately, tomorrow looks like a washout and the weather is calling for thunderstorms and rain for much of the day.
Because of this, our RACE for EDUCATION will be postponed and will be held NEXT FRIDAY, MAY 16th.
All the track times…race times…and all details are all the same, just pushing it back a week and hoping for better weather next Friday.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature is out of our hands and we will keep our fingers crossed she delivers a beauty for us next week!

Check out the notes and artwork recently completed by our Jeffersons students! These are going out with meals in our community via Meals on Wheels. Our classroom teachers helped facilitate the writing of the notes and Miss Petras helped with the drawings in art class.
And a special THANK YOU to Dr. Fuller and Mr. Nonnemacher for helping this special project come to fruition!

Our ANNUAL RACE for EDUCATION is only ONE WEEK AWAY…next Friday, May 9th!!!
***You are encouraged to come out to cheer on and walk/run with your child at the high school track and sit in our bleachers.
***Please note: Only those parents who signed up to volunteer AND have updated clearances/background checks ON FILE with our district office may officially volunteer with our PTC with the various needs and assignments on race day.
Below are the race times:
KDG & 1st Grade:
9:45 A.M. – 10:15 A.M.
2nd & 3rd Grade:
10:30 A.M. – 11:15 A.M.
4th & 5th Grade:
11:30 A.M. – 12:15 P.M.
***AND*** This is our Jefferson PTC's BIGGEST FUNDRAISER for the entire school year!!! The money we raise during this event comes right back to Jefferson, our students, our faculty and community! Field trips, assemblies, teacher supplies and much, much more!
Our goal is to get to $10K!!!! Can we do it?!?! Some say they are not sure…I say we can! Please consider donating…even if just a couple of dollars…every cent count!
