EPSD Summer Fitness Camp 2014

Fitness camp is a five-week program available for students entering grades 1-6. The camp will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from Jully 8th through August 7 at Willow Lane Elementary. Parents/Guardians will have to provide to their own transportation.

There will be two sessions:

Session 1: 9:30am - 11:00am
Session 2: 11:15am - 12:45pm

Lincoln Student Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures
August 21, 2013

Children should not arrive at school before 8:40 AM, as there will be no supervision until that time.

Please pick-up and drop-off your children on Penn Street between Seem and Elm Streets.

A crossing guard will be stationed at the intersection of Penn and Seem to escort children safely across the street.  Please have the children cross with the crossing guard.

For the safety of the children, DO NOT drop-off or    pick-up students on Pike or Mulberry Streets (the alley ways on both sides of the school). 

The front of the school is reserved for school bus traffic ONLY during pick up and drop off times.  PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF OR PICK UP YOUR CHILD IN THAT AREA, OR ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO GET IN OR OUT OF THE CAR IN THE CENTER OF THE STREET.

If you prefer to escort your child to the school door, please park on the upper or lower ends of Seem Street OR on Second or Third Streets and walk up to the school.

If you arrive later than 8:55 AM (or 12:25 PM for Kindergarten) you must enter the building with your child and sign him/her in at the office.

If your child is going to be picked up early because of scheduled appointments, please send a note to school with information about the date, time, and person coming for the child.

“Change in pick-up” notes must be sent to school with your child on the day of pick-up, otherwise children will be sent home on their regular bus or dismissed in their usual manner.  You may also call the office before the end of the day to inform the school secretary of a child’s pick-up, however, prior notice is preferred and appreciated.

Please share this information with relatives or friends who may be dropping off or picking up your child.


Student Accident Insurance

This is a reminder to parents with a child or children attending school in our School District that we do not carry medical insurance on students, but do provide parents with the opportunity to select a primary excess group insurance plan for students. Student accident insurance can help you eliminate the possibility of out-of-pocket expenses, since many group insurance policies no longer pay full hospital and medical expenses and may require a deductible or co-insurance. Free and Reduced Meal Applications

Please note that the 2013-2014 Free & Reduced Meal Applications are now available for parents on our website. Simply click on Food Service Information below and a link will take you to the Food Services Department page where you can click on additional links to apply online, download the application, and download the letter & instructions for filling out the application. If you wish to apply, please send the application into school with your child during the first week of school.
