Phantoms Cup Scholastic Ice Hockey Championship
The Emmaus Ice Hockey Club is set to compete in the Annual Phantoms Cup Scholastic Hockey Championship at the PPL Center this week! Student-athletes from the Middle (3/7 @ 7:15 PM), and JV (3/10 @ 7:20) levels will be hitting the ice to represent our community. Admission is free, so come out and cheer on our athletes! We hope to see you there!
Track Tryouts will be held on March 10th at the high school 5:15 pm to 7 pm. Students need to be cleared with physical and impact test in order to tryout. If you need more information please go to the athletic page off the East Penn District Webpage.
EPSD Girls in STEM Day Sign Ups
The East Penn Middle Level Technology & Engineering Department is excited to present the 6th annual Girls in STEM event at Eyer Middle School on Saturday, April 12th. Get ready for a fun-filled day of collaboration and hands-on STEM experiences featuring the EHS Jasper program, EHS Tech Ed department, EHS National Science Honor Society, Let’s Build, LCTI, and the Emmaus Juxtahub. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to explore STEM, connect with industry professionals, and engage in interactive activities. Signups are capped at the first 40 students from each middle school who sign up. A digital copy of the sign up can be accessed via the following link. Eyer Madness 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
The Annual Eyer Madness 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament is quickly approaching. Any students interested in signing a team up to participate in this 9th Period activity up must submit the completed forms to Mr. Budinas in Room 634 during AM or PM Homeroom by today, March 4th. Digital copies of the form can be found via the following links (Boys Sign Up & Girls Sign Up) and paper copies can be found outside of Room 634. EHS Girls Soccer Summer League
Calling all 7th and 8th grade girls soccer players! Get ready for an exciting summer league at Whitehall HS Soccer/Football Turf Fields. The team will play on Wednesdays and Thursdays, May 28th through July 10th, with game times at 5:00, 6:15, 7:30, or 8:45 PM. The league fee is $80-$100. The 24-25 Yearbook is ON SALE! Families can order their yearbooks through the Christmas City Studios Website using the EyerMSYB25 Session Password. Yearbook sales will be available through April 25th. Please note that yearbooks will only be available for purchase via this digital system. No additional copies will be available for sale in person at Eyer, so don’t miss out, reserve your copy today!
EPSD Education Foundation 8th Grade Yard Signs
The East Penn Education Foundation wants to help make the end of the year special for your favorite Eyer 8th Grader! Clubs:
School Store-The school store will open Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunches each week to sell school store items. It will open on Wednesdays for PAWS stickers items.
Youth for Christ Club– This student-led club will include Bible studies, games, charity activities, and fellowship. Interested students can sign up in the main office. We meet Thursdays after school in room 104
Homework Club– Get the help you need, improve your grades, stay organized and finish assignments in a focused, quiet environment. For additional information, see Mrs. Cosme in Guidance.
Mathcounts is a competitive math team that meets once a week after school; if you’re interested, visit Room 507 or email Mrs. Hummel.
Table Top Club: Eyer’s Tabletop Club meets every Tuesday, interested students should see Mr. Davis in the music room (room 310) to sign up.
Walking Club – There will be no walking club this Thursday. The next meeting of the Walking Club will be March 18th.

Late Bus
The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.
Chromebooks
Students should develop a consistent routine to charge their Chromebooks every night to ensure they’re prepared for class each day. Creating a plan, such as designating a specific charging spot and setting a reminder before bedtime, can help make this habit stick.
Lost & Found
There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.
Weis4School Rewards Program – The Weis4School Rewards Program allows schools to earn funds to support their programs when families shop at Weis. Eyer families can register their existing Weis Rewards Card to benefit our school by following the link below. Please consider taking these simple steps to help support programming for our students!
