Multicultural Club
March is Irish American Heritage Month, and our Multicultural Club is celebrating with a special baking demo! Mrs. Snow, our 7th-grade counselor, will be showing us how to make traditional Irish Soda Bread on Thursday, March 27th. The Spring Fling March Student Social
Join the Eyer Student Council for the Spring Fling on Friday, March 28th, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM! Students are invited to enjoy a night of music, dancing, snacks, and fun. Tickets will be available for $6 during your lunch. We can’t wait to celebrate a night of screen-free fun at our March Student Social!
ArtsQuest Book Art Workshop
Join Mr. Solano in the Eyer Library on March 26th during all lunches for a Book Art Workshop and Pop-Up Exhibit with ArtsQuest Teaching Artist Claire Marcus! In this hands-on workshop, students will explore the exciting world of interactive book arts, folding and designing unique paper structures while incorporating their own writing, drawings, and creative ideas. They’ll also learn about book arts and mixed media techniques, no prior experience needed, and all materials will be provided! Participants will also get an exclusive preview of Industrial Strength, Claire Marcus’ latest exhibit, which highlights the beauty and resilience of industrial forms. Don’t miss this opportunity to unleash your creativity!
Club Alert!
Sports Social Club (formerly Kickball): There will be absolutely no kickball in the Spring due to the lack of baseball diamond. Instead, the club will play only flag football on the field. The students registered for kickball in the fall are invited back for our first meeting on Thursday, March 20th afterschool. As always, this is weather dependent. Please listen for announcements if we need to reschedule due to weather. Please bring your own flags if you have them. The Multicultural Club
Homerooms are invited to participate in the World Language Week Door Decorating Contest for a chance to win PAWS stickers, pastries, and bragging rights. Homerooms can showcase their creativity by transforming their doors into vibrant displays celebrating languages and cultures worldwide. To participate, homeroom teachers must complete the Google Form sent by Mrs. Cosme, and paper for your door is available in Guidance. Judging will take place on Wednesday, March 26th, with winners announced on March 27th. Doors will be evaluated based on creativity, cultural representation, educational value, visual appeal, and teamwork, with bonus points for interactive elements. Best Buddies T-Shirt Design Contest
Calling all Eyer artists and creative minds! The Best Buddies Club is hosting a T-shirt Design Contest, and we need your help to create a design that spreads a message of friendship and acceptance. The theme is “Friends embrace your quirks by choice,” and we challenge you to create an image that represents friendship, uniqueness, and inclusion. The contest is open to all Eyer students and staff, and the winning design will be featured on a T-shirt sold to support the club! The winner will also receive a free T-shirt with their design and a Wawa gift card. Submit your original artwork to Mrs. Hastie in Room 122 by Monday, March 24th. Eyer PTO Bingo Save the Date
The Eyer PTO is excited to host Eyer Family Bingo Night on Friday, April 25th! Doors open at 6 PM, and BINGO begins at 7 PM. 8th Grade Semi-Formal
An Enchanted Evening – Eyer’s 8th Grade Semi-Formal will take place on Saturday, May 31st, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Tickets will be on sale from April 1st to April 11th for $25.00. This special event features food, desserts, dancing, and activities, with the cafeteria transformed into a memorable space for our students. Stay tuned for more details!
EHS Girls Soccer Summer League
Calling all 7th and 8th grade girls soccer players! Get ready for an exciting summer league at Whitehall HS Soccer/Football Turf Fields. The team will play on Wednesdays and Thursdays, May 28th through July 10th, with game times at 5:00, 6:15, 7:30, or 8:45 PM. The league fee is $80-$100. The East Penn Education Foundation wants to help make the end of the year special for your favorite Eyer 8th Grader! School Store-The school store will open Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunches each week to sell school store items. It will open on Wednesdays for PAWS stickers items.
Youth for Christ Club– This student-led club will include Bible studies, games, charity activities, and fellowship. Interested students can sign up in the main office. We meet Thursdays after school in room 104
Homework Club– Get the help you need, improve your grades, stay organized and finish assignments in a focused, quiet environment. For additional information, see Mrs. Cosme in Guidance.
Table Top Club: Eyer’s Tabletop Club meets every Tuesday, interested students should see Mr. Davis in the music room (room 310) to sign up.
Walking Club – There will be walking club Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting.

Late Bus
The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.
Chromebooks
Students should develop a consistent routine to charge their Chromebooks every night to ensure they’re prepared for class each day. Creating a plan, such as designating a specific charging spot and setting a reminder before bedtime, can help make this habit stick.
Lost & Found
There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.
Weis4School Rewards Program – The Weis4School Rewards Program allows schools to earn funds to support their programs when families shop at Weis. Eyer families can register their existing Weis Rewards Card to benefit our school by following the link below. Please consider taking these simple steps to help support programming for our students!
