Winter Parent Teacher Conferences

January 21, 2022

Eyer School Community,

Winter Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, February 1st and Thursday, February 2nd. As a reminder, Eyer will dismiss at 11:00 AM on these dates in order to accommodate the Parent Teacher Conference schedule.

The goal of Parent Teacher Conferences is to provide an opportunity for parents and teachers to work together to discuss student progress and develop a plan to support successful academic and behavioral growth of our students. Due to the limited number of spaces to complete parent-teacher conferences, the Eyer staff completes targeted pre-communications with families of student(s) that may need additional support in meeting these academic and behavioral goals. That being said, families that do not receive a direct conference request from their student(s) teacher(s) are still able to schedule a Parent Teacher Conference to discuss individual student progress.

Eyer families that did not previously receive a direct communication from their student(s) teachers but are still interested in scheduling a conference should use the following Eyer Winter Parent Teacher Conference Sign Up to sign up for a conference time. Please note that we are continuing to primarily hold in-person Parent Teacher Conferences as our teams believe that this format is more beneficial in the development of meaningful dialogue. That being said, if an in-person meeting presents a hardship we can complete a parent-teacher conference via a digital format. Families seeking this accommodation should reach out directly to their students POD teachers in an effort to ensure that this accommodation is appropriately made.

If you have any further questions please contact your student(s) School Counselor.
