Eyer’s annual Meet the Teacher Night will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd, from 6:00–7:30 PM. This event gives families the chance to meet their child’s instructional team, tour the building, and learn more about our middle-level instructional program. Beforehand, the Meet the Teacher Night Community Resource Fair will take place from 5:00 PM–6:00 PM in the Eyer Cafeteria and Commons. Families are encouraged to arrive early to explore resources, connect with local organizations, and attend a parent education presentation offered before or during the evening program. Together, these events are designed to provide families with a “one-stop shop” for both school and community resources to support them in navigating the middle school years.

We’re excited to welcome our incoming 6th grade students and their families to Eyer! On August 13th, we will be hosting our 6th Grade Orientation, an event designed to help students feel confident and prepared as they transition to middle school. During the orientation, families will have the opportunity to meet key members of the Eyer staff, walk through their student’s schedule, practice opening lockers, and become familiar with the building before the year begins. To accommodate as many families as possible, we will offer two identical sessions that day, allowing flexibility based on your schedule. Due to Eyer’s role as the host site for all middle-level summer learning programs, our annual cleaning and maintenance schedule is significantly compressed. This creates a limited window for holding events that require access to the entire school building like orientation. If your family is unable to attend, we encourage you to reach out to Mr. Gee, Mrs. Armstrong, or Mr. Ruhf to coordinate an alternative time. We look forward to meeting our new 6th grade families and helping students begin their middle school experience with confidence and support. Session #1 - 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM Session #2 - 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
