Since this is the year of the Mantra, if you have a positive Mantra that you like and/or live by, and would like to hear it during announcements, please submit it to Mrs. Batz in the main office. All Admin approved Mantras will be added to the list and used in rotation. We look forward to your additions.
It’s that time again… PAWS Cookie Day! What is PAWS Cookie Day? We reward students showing Eyer Spirit, wearing school colors, with a cookie of their choice at lunchtime to reinforce the value of: Positive Attitudes Will Succeed. The first cookie day will be Friday, September 27th.
Clubs:
- Kickball Club– Sign ups are officially closed. The first meeting will be Tuesday, September 24th afterschool.
- Builder’s Club– Would you like to help your school and community? Join Builder’s club w/ Miss Torpey. Email Miss Torpey or stop by her room to sign up.
- Kid to Kid Jr– Are you a 7th or 8th grader who wants to make a difference by helping others and being a positive role model at school? If this sounds like you, the Kid It Kid Jr. Club might be the perfect fit! Throughout the year, students in this club collaborate with the high school club and other schools to create positive change both at school and in the community. To join, sign up in the counseling office, and Mrs. Hackman and Mrs. Snow will send you a reminder about our first meeting, Thursday, September 26th.
- Yearbook Club– Sign-ups are now open. Please stop by the Counseling Office to pick up an application and get more information. Applications are due today.
- Math 24– Do you like math games? Can you make the number 24 using multiple operations? If so, consider joining the Math 24 club. Math 24 will meet every Thursday. We will be practicing for a competition in May! If you are interested in joining and possibly being a member of the Math 24 team, please see Mrs. King in Room 663 to sign up.
- Our first World Language Club will be meeting on Thursday, September 26th at 2:30 in room 622. All members and all languages welcome!
- No Place for Hate– Want to make Eyer a place where all students feel welcome, valued and included? Consider joining No Place for Hate. All students are welcome. Be sure to sign up for the late bus or make arrangements to be picked up by 4pm.
- Best Buddies Club is an incredible opportunity to make new friends and have fun with students with special needs. There will be a mandatory meeting during 9th period in the auditorium on Thursday, September 19th, for ANYONE who turned in a Best Buddies application. The meeting will start at 1:45.
- Multicultural Club: Interested in embracing diversity, celebrating cultures, and making new friends? Join the Eyer Multicultural Club. See Mrs. Cosme in the School Counseling office for more information or to sign up. All students are welcome!
- Table Top Club: Eyer’s Tabletop Club meets every Tuesday, interested students should see Mr. Davis in the music room (room 310) to sign up.
- Stem Club-Are you passionate about creating? Curious about woodworking, engineering, or technology? Join STEM Club, where you’ll learn project design, woodworking techniques, and build exciting projects! To apply, pick up an application from the Commons near the Art room, or outside Mrs. Gillen’s Tech Ed room (406). The deadline is Monday, September 30th, so submit your application on time. Please note that not all applicants will be accepted. If you have any questions, reach out to Mrs. Gillen or Ms. Feliciani.
- Walking Club will continue every Tuesday and Thursday, weathering permitted. Please make sure to sign up for the late bus or made arrangements to get picked up by 4 pm.
- Crochet Club: Crochet Club will be meeting Thursdays in room 640.

Late Bus
The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.
Lost & Found
There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.
