Talent Show

Have you got talent? Want to show it off? Sign-ups for auditions for the 2025 Talent Show are happening now! Auditions will be held after school in Mrs. Hastie’s room, 122, on Tuesday, May 13th and Thursday, May 15th. The talent show is during the school day on June 9th. Look for the audition form link on the Eyer Website to sign up. Songs are limited to only being performed once in the show, so get your audition form in today! Audition forms are due by Friday, May 9th. See Mrs. Hastie or Mrs. Knecht with any questions. You can use this form to sign up.

25-26 Agenda Book Cover Design Contest

Attention all Eyer Artists! We’re excited to announce the launch of the 7th Annual Eyer Agenda Book Cover Design Contest. The winning design will grace the cover of the 25-26 Eyer Agenda Book. If you’re interested, submit your design to either Mr. Ruhf and Mrs. Armstrong in the Main Office. Your design should represent Eyer in a manner that you deem appropriate and be presented on an 8 ½ by 11 piece of paper. Make sure you submit your final design by the end of the day on Friday, May 2nd. 

PTO Dine-to-Donate SAVE THE DATE

The Eyer PTO will be hosting a Dine-to-Donate event at McDonald’s in Macungie on Thursday, May 8th, from 5:00–8:00 PM. During this time, 20% of all sales will be donated back to the Eyer PTO—no flyer needed! Please mark your calendars and consider supporting the Eyer PTO by enjoying a meal out that evening!

EPSD Fall Sports Sign Ups

Any student athlete interested in participating on a 2025 EPSD Fall Sports Team must complete the 2025 Fall Sports Sign-up Form by June 1st. Additional information about the EPSD Fall Sports including information about the required physicals can be found via the following link. All questions about any of the EPSD Athletic Programs should be directed to the EPSD Athletic Department.

EHS Dance Team Try Outs

The Emmaus High School Dance Team will be holding tryouts for the 2025–2026 team on May 7th and 8th from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM in Cafe 1 at Emmaus High School. Tryouts are open to all students who will be attending Emmaus High School during the 2025–2026 school year. Interested 8th grade students can pick up a flyer in the Main Office.

Boys Basketball Open Gym

Attention all boys entering grades 7 and 8 next school year. Open gyms will be held from 2:45-4:30pm on Thursday, 5/8 and Wednesday, 5/28. You must fill out and bring an Intramural Activities Consent Form in order to participate. This form will be available in the Eyer Main Office.

8th Grade Semi-Formal Dance

Eyer Middle School’s 8th Grade Semi-Formal will be held on Saturday, May 31st from 6 PM to 9 PM at Eyer. Celebrate your middle school journey with friends, music, and memories that will last a lifetime. Enjoy a professional DJ, stunning decorations, and a delicious buffet dinner with refreshing beverages. Tickets are on sale from April 1st to April 11th, 2025, during 8th grade lunch. Students can pay with cash or check (made out to Eyer Middle School) or online via Cheddar Up. Regardless of payment method, students should return the physical permission slip to Mrs. Dreisbach in Room 411. Additional information can be found via the Digital Permission Slip.

Support the Eyer Angel Network

The Eyer Angel Network is seeking a few select clothing items for students in need. We are accepting new or gently used sweatpants, hoodies, sweatshirts, and girls’ black leggings. Due to limited space, please donate only these specific items. Donations can be brought to the Eyer Main Office. Thank you for your continued generosity in supporting our school community!

EPSD Education Foundation 8th Grade Yard Signs

The East Penn Education Foundation wants to help make the end of the year special for your favorite Eyer 8th Grader! Celebrate their transition from Eyer Middle School to Emmaus High School with a personalized yard sign! For more information, including digital order forms, please visit the following link.

Spring Music Concerts

The Eyer Music Department invites the school community to attend the spring student musical performances. Additional information about upcoming performances is outlined below.

  • Spring Band Concert – April 30th at 7 PM at Eyer 
  • Spring Orchestra Concert – May 6th at 7 PM at Eyer  
  • Spring Choral Concert – May 16th at 7 PM at Eyer 

Student Council

If you are interested in helping out your school and having a great time while doing it, student council may be for you!

Attention 6th and 7th graders, student council applications are available outside Mr. Budinas’s room 634.

Completed applications are due 5/14/2025.

CLUB INFORMATION

Flag Football

The next meeting will today, Tuesday, April 29th.

Writers Club

Writers Club will be held in Room 635 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you’re interested in writing your own book or want to improve your writing skills, come join us!! If you have any questions you can email Miss Glowancki at aglowacki@eastpennsd.org.

School Store

The school store will open Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunches each week to sell school store items.  It will open on Wednesdays for PAWS stickers items.

Youth for Christ Club

This student-led club will include Bible studies, games, charity activities, and fellowship. Interested students can sign up in the main office. We meet Thursdays after school in room 104

Homework Club

Get the help you need, improve your grades, stay organized and finish assignments in a focused, quiet environment. For additional information, see Mrs. Cosme in Guidance.

Table Top Club

Eyer’s Table Top Club meets every Tuesday, interested students should see Mr. Davis in the music room (room 310) to sign up.

Walking Club

There will be walking club Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting.

RECURRING

Late Bus

The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.

Chromebooks

Students should develop a consistent routine to charge their Chromebooks every night to ensure they’re prepared for class each day. Creating a plan, such as designating a specific charging spot and setting a reminder before bedtime, can help make this habit stick.

Lost & Found

There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.

Weis4School Rewards Program

The Weis4School Rewards Program allows schools to earn funds to support their programs when families shop at Weis. Eyer families can register their existing Weis Rewards Card to benefit our school by following the link below. Please consider taking these simple steps to help support programming for our students!
