Eyer’s Daily Announcements

Good Morning Eyer! It is Tuesday, November 5th and it is Day 1.

Frozen Jr. Auditions – Students interested in auditioning for the Spring Musical, “Frozen Jr.”, should sign up for an audition time slot and collect the audition materials outside of Mr. Davis’s Room, 310, located in the music hallway just past the Auditorium. Auditions will take place during the week of November 18th. If any students or families have questions about the audition process, feel free to reach out to either Mrs. Knecht or Mr. Davis. Break a leg!

Chili Cook Off and Craft Fair – We invite you to join us for the annual Eyer Chili Cook Off and Craft Fair on Saturday, November 9, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Eyer Cafeteria! Guests interested in sampling a variety of fun and creative chilis can participate for just $2, which includes a spoon for sampling all the chilis and a ticket to vote for their favorite. For those who prefer not to sample chili, entry is free. Come enjoy the delicious submissions from our Chili Cook Off entrants and explore the wonderful crafts from various artisans. We hope to see you there!

Veterans Day Care Package Drive – Last year, while Mr. Boyle, one of our faculty members, was serving overseas with the United States Army, our school community came together to collect items for his unit deployed in the Middle East. Although Mr. Boyle has since returned, we are proud to continue this tradition by gathering items for care packages to be sent to active-duty service members as part of our Veterans Day activities. This year, we will also invite students to write letters expressing their support, appreciation, and gratitude to include with the care packages. A list of requested items is available via the following link, and donations can be dropped off in the Main Office. Thank you for your continued support!

Dave and Busters Power Card Fundraiser – From Monday, November 4 through Monday, November 18, the Eyer PTO is hosting a Dave & Buster’s Power Card Fundraiser. With each Dave and Buster’s Power Card purchase, 50% (or $10) will be donated back to the Eyer PTO, supporting student-focused programming at Eyer. Families interested in purchasing can place an order using the Dave & Buster’s Power Card Digital Order Form. These will make great stocking stuffers and can be used at the Whitehall Dave & Buster’s location. Thank you for your ongoing support!

After School Domino Tournament – The Eyer Multicultural Club is excited to host its first annual Domino Tournament after school on Thursday, November 7, in the cafeteria! All students and staff are invited to join us for an afternoon of screen-free fun while learning a new game. To participate, please sign up in Guidance by Wednesday, November 6. For more details, you can contact Mrs. Cosme in Guidance. We can’t wait to see you there!

Future City Recyclable Collection – Future City needs your help! The club is collecting recyclables for their model city project and would greatly appreciate any of the following items: small springs or toy parts, mini cereal boxes, newspapers, aluminum foil tubes, bottle caps, and any other small, unique pieces. Donations can be dropped off in the Yellow Can located in the Main Office or in Room 522. Thank you for supporting our students’ creativity!

EHS Theatre Department Middle School Mixer – The Emmaus High School Theater Department will host a Middle School Mixer on Thursday, November 7th, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Students from the Eyer and LMMS Theater programs are invited to play improv games, enjoy snacks, and meet each other. Please note that all attendees must arrange their own transportation to and from Emmaus High School. Interested students and families should RSVP using the Middle School Mixer Google Form. Questions about this event can be emailed to either Mrs. Knecht or Mrs. Magro.

Lost & Found
