Extended Learning Program

Purpose

The purpose of this program is to provide additional instructional time and support to assist students who are not meeting academic requirements. This program is focused on supporting the general grade-level standards/course curriculum (ex: assignment/project completion, make-up work, study skills, mastery learning). The Extended Learning Program will be facilitated by Eyer teachers and staff. 

Entrance Criteria: Students are identified by the instructional team as having a “D” or “F” at each of the progress checkpoints.

Exit Criteria: (Students Must Meet Both Criteria): Student has received a grade of “C” or higher in all classes at the next grade checkpoint and the student feels confident in his/her ability to be independently successful.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:35pm-4:00pm

    • Progress Checkpoint 1 – Check grades October 25  
      • Session #1 – November 6 to December 4  (8 Sessions)
    • Progress Checkpoint 2 – Check grades December 9
      • Session # 2 – December 11 to January 15 (8 Sessions)
    • Progress Checkpoint 3 – Check Grades January 17
      • Session #3 – January 22 to February 14 (8 Sessions)
    • Progress Checkpoint 4 – Check Grades February 15
      • Session #4 – February 21 to March 19 (8 Sessions)
    • Progress Checkpoint 5 – Check Grades March 21
      • Session #5 – March 26 to April 23 (8 Sessions)
    • Progress Checkpoint 6 – Check Grades April 25
      • Session #6 – April 30 to May 23 (8 Sessions)
