PAWS Pretzel Day

The February PAWS Pretzel Day will take place on Thursday, February 20th. Students can purchase a soft pretzel for $1 during 9th Period.

PAWS Cookie Day

Our next PAWS Cookie Day is Friday, February 28! Students who show their school spirit by wearing Eyer colors will receive a cookie of their choice during lunch.

Sweet Escape Dance

The Sweet Escape Dance has been rescheduled to Friday, February 21st, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Tickets will be available for purchase during the week of February 18th. As a reminder, we are collecting toiletry items for the Angel Network! Donations of toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and other hygiene essentials are greatly appreciated. For every donation, you’ll be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Nike or Lululemon gift card! 

PAWS Cookie Day Donations

PAWS Cookie Day is a success because of our families! Please sign up to donate at least 2 dozen store-bought cookies. Favorites among our students include sugar cookies with icing and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Interested families can also donate easily through Venmo! Send your cash donation to @Eyer-Connection and label it “Cookie Day.”

Eyer Musical

Get ready for a magical journey to Arendelle as our talented students bring Frozen Jr. to life on stage! You won’t want to miss this enchanting performance filled with heartwarming moments, unforgettable songs, and dazzling costumes. The show runs Thursday, March 6 – Saturday, March 8 with a 7pm show each night and a 2 pm matinee on Saturday. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens. Bring your friends and family to enjoy this frosty adventure full of laughter, love, and courage. Don’t let it go—mark your calendars and join us for Frozen Jr. We can’t wait to see you there!

24 / 25 Yearbook Sale

The 24-25 Yearbook is ON SALE! Families can order their yearbooks through the Christmas City Studios Website using the EyerMSYB25 Session Password. Yearbook sales will be available through April 25th. Please note that yearbooks will only be available for purchase via this digital system. No additional copies will be available for sale in person at Eyer, so don’t miss out, reserve your copy today!

EPSD Education Foundation 8th Grade Yard Signs

The East Penn Education Foundation wants to help make the end of the year special for your favorite Eyer 8th Grader! Annual Eyer Art Show

The Eyer Art Department is excited to announce the 12th Annual Eyer Art Show! We invite all interested students to submit artwork in one or more of the following categories: Drawing, Painting, and Photography. All submissions are due by Monday, March 3rd and can be submitted directly to Mr. Willett in Room 222. All works will be on display in the Eyer Commons during the school day and during each performance of the Eyer Spring Musical, Frozen Jr. We look forward to showcasing the diverse talents of our students in this annual artistic showcase.

LCTI Applications

LCTI applications are now open! Don’t miss this opportunity to apply for the 2025-2026 school year. Applications are due by March 1, 2025. Please see Mr. Gee in the Counseling Office if you have questions on how to apply. We will be running application support sessions 9th period. The first will be this Friday in the LGI. If you are interested in signing up, please use the link posted in Updates on the Class of 2029 Schoology page.

EPSD Middle Level Spring Athletics Sign Ups

Sign-ups are now open for EPSD Spring Athletics! Any 7th or 8th-grade student interested in participating can register by completing the EPSD Spring Athletics Registration Form available on the Spring Athletics page of the EPSD Spring Athletics Webpage. EPSD has significantly expanded athletic opportunities for middle-level students, now offering Co-Ed Track and Field, Girls Softball, Boys Volleyball, Girls Club Lacrosse, and Boys Club Lacrosse. We encourage families to explore these exciting opportunities with their students and complete the 2024-2025 Spring Sports Sign-Ups before the February 3rd registration deadline.

We have winter coats and accessories available in our foyer if needed. Please feel free to stop by.

Clubs:

Math 24 club- The club will meet Tuesday, February 18th.

School Store-The school store will open Thursdays during lunches each week to sell school store items.  It will open on Tuesdays for PAWS stickers items.

Youth for Christ Club– This student-led club will include Bible studies, games, charity activities, and fellowship. Interested students can sign up in the main office. We meet Thursdays after school in room 104

Homework Club– Get the help you need, improve your grades, stay organized and finish assignments in a focused, quiet environment. For additional information, see Mrs. Cosme in Guidance.

Mathcounts is a competitive math team that meets once a week after school; if you’re interested, visit Room 507 or email Mrs. Hummel.

Table Top Club: Eyer’s Tabletop Club meets every Tuesday, interested students should see Mr. Davis in the music room (room 310) to sign up.

Walking Club will continue every Tuesday and Thursday, weathering permitted. Please make sure to sign up for the late bus or make arrangements to get picked up by 4 pm

Late Bus
The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.

Chromebooks

Students should develop a consistent routine to charge their Chromebooks every night to ensure they’re prepared for class each day. Creating a plan, such as designating a specific charging spot and setting a reminder before bedtime, can help make this habit stick.

Lost & Found
There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.

Weis4School Rewards Program – The Weis4School Rewards Program allows schools to earn funds to support their programs when families shop at Weis. Eyer families can register their existing Weis Rewards Card to benefit our school by following the link below. Please consider taking these simple steps to help support programming for our students!
