Cafeteria Newsletter – June 2022

2021-2022 End of Year

  • Positive student balances will remain in student accounts unless the student withdraws or graduates.
  • *Unpaid student debt should be paid by the end of the school year
  • Withdrawing students will automatically receive a refund if their balance is $2.50 or greater. Please provide the school with a forwarding address.
  • Graduating seniors: positive balances of $2.50 or greater will be transferred to an enrolled sibling account, if applicable. Otherwise, refund checks will be mailed to the address on file. Parents can also initiate the transfer on School Café before graduation.
  • Refund and donation requests can be made through School Café or by completing a Refund/Transfer/Donate form located on our district webpage: www.eastpennsd.org/food.

New for the 2022-2023 School Year

  • The district will be returning to free/paid/reduced status for all students next year. Applications must be completed for students to be considered free or reduced meals unless they are directly certified. DO NOT complete an application if you receive a Direct Certification letter.
  • Direct Certification letters will be emailed/mailed in July or early August. Free/reduced applications will be available for completion in early August at www.schoolcafe.com/EastPennSD
  • Reduced meal prices are $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. Paid meal prices are $1.65 for breakfast at all levels. Lunch is $2.90 at the elementary level and $3.00 the secondary level. A la carte prices will be posted on the website
