Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer. The first day for students is Monday, August 28.
Below are some upcoming changes and enhancements that have taken place in the areas of curriculum, technology, and facilities, implemented to keep the district current, relevant, and progressive.

On June 26, 2017 Board Policy 810.2 Transportation – Video/Audio Recording was officially adopted.

Wescosville – Tuesday, March 21
Shoemaker- Wednesday, March 22
Macungie– Thursday, March 23
Lincoln– Friday, March 24
The East Penn School District would like to announce the formation of the EPSD Education Foundation. The mission statement of the Foundation is “to enrich, extend and deepen the educational experiences of East Penn School District students with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.” The Foundation will achieve its mission by financially supporting teacher grants, new programs, and educational resources that develop critical thinking, creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in the critical areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).

Gifted Support Students at Willow Lane Elementary School took part in the Wonder Workshop Wonder League Space Missions. Using coding and robotics, students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 met once a week after school with Mrs. Julia Dweck, Gifted Support teacher, to solve 7 different space-themed missions.

The East Penn School District’s Spring 2016 Community Education classes are now open for registration. Our registration deadline is January 18th and most of the classes will begin the week of February 1, 2016.
