Early this morning, Lehigh Valley Live reported a series of fake school shooting calls made to local schools. Emmaus schools were erroneously included as receiving one of these hoax calls. Please note that the East Penn School District and local law enforcement have not received any threats made to our schools today. Our students and staff are safe and classroom activities have not been interrupted in any of our school buildings. We apologize for any alarm that this inaccurate report caused our community.
