What is Vespa?

The Virtual East Penn School Academy (VESPA) is East Penn School District’s established full-time K–12 online learning option, allowing students to engage in asynchronous coursework from home while maintaining enrollment in the District. Since 2016, VESPA has provided a flexible, high-quality virtual learning environment designed to meet a wide range of student needs, ensuring that students remain connected to EPSD academic supports, clubs, athletics, and school events. The program is free of charge for all families residing in the East Penn School District, and students who meet graduation requirements earn an East Penn School District diploma.VESPA students connect at least once per week, at a scheduled time, for a synchronous check-in with a member of the VESPA team. New enrollments are accepted prior to the start of each marking period.
