Enrollment in VESPA

Families interested in enrolling their student in the East Penn School District’s virtual learning option, VESPA, should follow the appropriate enrollment procedures outlined below.

For Students Currently Enrolled in an East Penn School

Entry into VESPA occurs at the beginning of each new marking period. Parents/guardians must contact the appropriate EPSD staff member (listed below) in advance of the enrollment window in which they are seeking a change. Advanced planning is required to ensure that students are accurately scheduled for coursework.

Elementary VESPA Requests:

Elementary parents/guardians should direct requests for VESPA to their home building principal.

Middle School VESPA Requests:

Middle level parents/guardians should direct requests for VESPA to the student’s grade level administrator and school counselor.

High School VESPA Requests:

High school parents/guardians should direct requests for VESPA to their student’s school counselor.

If a student with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) is interested in attending VESPA, the student’s parent/guardian should contact the student’s case manager and school counselor. An invitation will be generated for the IEP team to convene and further discuss the program, format, delivery of supports, and student enrollment recommendations and process.

For Students Not Currently Enrolled in the East Penn School District

Families residing in the East Penn School District with students who are not currently attending an East Penn school must complete the District’s student registration process before enrolling in the virtual learning option, VESPA.

  • Child’s birth certificate
  • Child’s record of immunization
