Student Assistance Program

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) consists of a group of educational professionals who were trained in a state certified program to help students experiencing barriers that exist to educational success including personal problems, drug, and/or alcohol use. The Student Assistance Program (SAP) Team identifies students at risk and works to help them deal with problems through individual or group sessions, gathers data to make recommendations for assistance, and by helping parents/guardians connect with school or outside agencies for support. The Eyer Middle School Student Assistance Program Team operates as a component of the Eyer MTSS Team. Referrals to the Student Assistance Program (SAP) can be made by students, faculty, staff, parents or after a Drug/Alcohol School Policy Violation (mandatory involvement with SAP). For additional information contact the School Counseling Office at 610-965-1605.
