Stop by the library and pick up a pumpkin template. You can use markers, crayons, and/or colored pencils to design a pumpkin with your favorite character or favorite book.
Multicultural Club Dance Lessons – In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, the Eyer Multicultural Club will be teaching the basics of bachata and merengue. All students and staff are welcome to join Multicultural Club on Thursday, October 10th after school in the cafeteria to learn the basics of these traditional Latin dances. All students interested in participating must sign up in Guidance by Wednesday, October 9th. For additional information, see Mrs. Cosme in Guidance.
6-Week Wellness Series
Mrs. Hackman is inviting students to submit interest forms for a 6-week weight room workout program. This series offers an opportunity to prioritize your health and well-being, with a focus on building a positive self-image. Girls will meet on Mondays during recess, and boys will meet on Fridays during recess. Please note, this is not a personal training session, but a chance to engage in fitness and self-care. Space is limited—only 12 students will be selected per group to ensure a safe and effective experience. If you’re interested, please submit your form by Thursday, October 17th.

Unity Day – Unity Day will be held on Wednesday, October 16th. Let’s stand together and send a powerful message of building a strong school community through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying by wearing orange on October 16th.
Student Council Fall Fest – Fall Fest will be held on Friday, October 11th, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM! Fall Fest tickets are on sale during lunches starting Monday October 7th. Tickets are $7. Fall Fest is a combination of games, activities, and prizes! Please join us for an afternoon of fun!
It’s Spirit Week!! Looking forward to seeing everyone in their pajamas today! Tomorrow, Tuesday, 10/8 will be Sports Day-wear your favorite team shirt or jersey. Wednesday, 10/9 will be Hawaiian Shirt Day- wear a shirt that reminds you of the beach. Thursday, 10/10 is Zoom Day, business on top for the camera, casual on the bottom, look ready for your zoom class or next meeting. Friday, 10/11 is Green and Gold-wear our school colors and we hope to see you at Fall Fest after school.
Boys Basketball- Eyer students in grades 7-8 interested in trying out for the boys basketball team are invited to attend open gym on Wednesday 10/30 from 2:35-4:30pm. Please complete the intramural consent form and bring it with you on 10/30. Students who do not have a completed form will not be allowed to participate. You can find the form in the main office.
Give Old Crocs A New Life – The Eyer Angel Network is collecting gently used Crocs for students in need. If your family has any to donate, please send them in with your student. Donations can be dropped off at the Main Office. Thank you for your support!
EPSD Winter Sports Sign Ups – Any 7th or 8th Grade Student Athlete who is interested in participating on a EPSD Winter Athletics Team must complete the 24-25 EPSD Winter Sports Sign Up Google Form by October 11th. Mr. Ruhf shared this information to all students via Schoology.
Eyer Night at the Phantoms – Join us for Eyer Night at the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Saturday, October 26th! The evening will feature a special performance by the Eyer Vocal Ensemble singing the National Anthem before the game.
Chili Cook Off and Craft Fair – Calling all chili enthusiasts, culinary wizards, crafters and small business owners! Eyer is holding our annual chili cook off and craft fair on Saturday, November 9th from 11am to 2pm. If you would like to participate in the chili cook off you can use the Eyer Chili Cook Off Sign Up
Clubs:
- Book Club – Would you like to meet with like-minded people to share your favorite and recent reads? Then join Eyer’s Book Club. We will be meeting the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Our first meeting will be Thursday, October 24th in Room 663. Please e-mail Mrs. Szep at lszep@eastpennsd.org to sign up!
- Kickball Club– Sign ups are officially closed. We will meet in the commons near the gym after school on Tuesdays. Please bring a water bottle, a snack, and a positive attitude.
- Builder’s Club– Would you like to help your school and community? Join Builder’s club w/ Miss Torpey. Email Miss Torpey or stop by her room to sign up.
- Kid to Kid Jr-If you are interested in participating but did not sign up, talk to Mrs. Hackman or Mrs. Snow.
- Math 24– Do you like math games? Can you make the number 24 using multiple operations? If so, consider joining the Math 24 club. Math 24 will meet every Thursday. We will be practicing for a competition in May! If you are interested in joining and possibly being a member of the Math 24 team, please see Mrs. King in Room 663 to sign up.
- Mathcounts is a competitive math team that meets once a week after school; if you’re interested, visit Room 507 or email Mrs. Hummel.
- No Place for Hate– Want to make Eyer a place where all students feel welcome, valued and included? Consider joining No Place for Hate. All students are welcome. Be sure to sign up for the late bus or make arrangements to be picked up by 4pm.
- Multicultural Club: Interested in embracing diversity, celebrating cultures, and making new friends? Join the Eyer Multicultural Club. See Mrs. Cosme in the School Counseling office for more information or to sign up. All students are welcome!
- Table Top Club: Eyer’s Tabletop Club meets every Tuesday, interested students should see Mr. Davis in the music room (room 310) to sign up.
- Walking Club will continue every Tuesday and Thursday, weathering permitted. Please make sure to sign up for the late bus or make arrangements to get picked up by 4 pm.
- Crochet Club: Crochet Club will be meeting Thursdays in room 640.

Late Bus
The after school late bus is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and you must sign up by 10:00 AM of the day you need to take it. The sign-up form is accessed via Clever on your Chromebook.
Lost & Found
There are two places to look for lost and found items. The table in the commons is often where clothing, water bottles, and lunch boxes are placed. If there is something more valuable like eye glasses, jewelry, retainers, or earbuds, please check at the front desk in the Main Office.
