Career Fair

Any 9th through 12th grade student who is interested in visiting Biddle Air National Guard Base for a Career Fair on May 1 should pick up a permission form in the counseling office.  Permission forms are due March 14.

Class of 2025 – Graduation Video Content Needed

SENIORS!!!   

During our graduation ceremony, a video documenting our senior year will play on the jumbotron.  We plan to compile videos, photos, and interviews highlighting memories and experiences of all class of 2025 students. Please upload any photos or videos you would like us to include to this google form by April 15th. The title of your photo or video should be the first and last name of the person submitting the form.  

Senior Scholarships

Greetings, Seniors! The 2025 EHS Local Scholarship Program for seniors will be open to apply online starting Monday, March 3rd. The link to the scholarship list will be posted on the EHS Counseling Website, Naviance, Schoology, Email & District Social Media Accounts.

All applications will be due by Friday, March 21st at 2:30 PM – NO EXCEPTIONS. Good luck!

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) – March 24, 2025

Any students in grades 10-12 who are interested in pursuing a career in the military or interested in finding out more about potential careers should take the ASVAB. The next opportunity to take the test will be on March 24th.

Please complete the March 2025 ASVAB Test Registration if you are interested in signing up for the ASVAB test.  The registration needs to be completed by March 20th.  If you have any questions, you can reach out to your Counselor or Mrs. Wood.

SAT Testing

All SAT tests are now digital!  You MUST have a photo ID and your Chromebook with the most current BlueBook app installed with you on testing day to sit for the SAT.  There will be no loaner Chromebooks available on test days.  It is imperative that you follow the directions that you have received from the College Board so that you are prepared when you arrive for the SATs.  The next testing dates for the SATs here at EHS are March 8th and May 4th.

Summer Technology Employment

The East Penn School District Technology Department is accepting applications for (4) temporary summer technology positions from June 16, 2025 – August 8, 2025. In order for you to be considered for a Summer Technology position, you must be a current student at Emmaus High School or have graduated from Emmaus High School and currently enrolled in higher education. The hourly rate is $12.50/hr. with a maximum of 320 hours. If you are interested, applications are available on the East Penn School District Website. You may also pick up an application in the Main Office and/or Counseling Office of Emmaus High School.  DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS IS APRIL 4, 2025

Summer Maintenance Employment

The Facilities Department is accepting applications for summer maintenance employment from 6/23/25-8/15/25

(8 WEEKS). If you are a student and interested in being one of our 15 summer maintenance employees, applications are available on the East Penn School District Website. You may also pick up an application in the main office and/or guidance office of Emmaus High School. Applicants must be an East Penn resident 16 years of age or older and continuing their education in high school or college. The hourly rate is $12.50/hr. with a maximum of 320 hours. STEM Trip

Are you interested in a STEM trip to London and Paris?  The trip will include various science-based tourist locations such as the Royal Observatory at Greenwich, London Science Museum, London Eye, Eiffel Tower, and a day at Disneyland Paris.  The trip is scheduled for June 22-July 2 2026.  Please contact Mr. Ohl in room 141 with any questions or stop by for an informational flyer about the trip.

Spring Musical

Tickets for EHS’s Spring Musical, Mamma Mia, are now available on the EHS website.  Tickets are $12 for students and senior citizens, and $14 for adults. The show runs April 2-5 at 7PM and April 5 and 6 at 2PM in the EHS auditorium. Get your tickets before we sell out!

EHS Red Cross Club

Did you know that a blood transfusion is needed every two seconds in the U.S.? EHS Red Cross Club is promoting Miller-Keystone Blood Donation Centers. If you donate blood and have proof, come to room 16 (Montepeque) for a bag of candy! Additionally, you’ll get a T-shirt from Miller-Keystone at the donation site.  See the fliers posted around the school to scan the QR code for more information.

LVHN Cedar Crest (1255 S. Cedar Crest Boulevard Suite 1300 Allentown, PA 18103) takes blood donations every day except Sundays! If you are interested in donating blood at this location, please schedule an appointment.

Peer Tutoring

If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the 2024-25 Student Tutoring Request Form.  Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Library.  Please visit your “Class of” Schoology Group for more information.

After School Homework Help

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2024). Teachers will be available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in academic performance and overall confidence at school. 

Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their classes for the remainder of the school year.  Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.

Late Bus

Please be advised that there will be no activity bus on March 11th due to the 11am dismissal.

Sign up online using the Late Bus Google Form in Schoology under the Materials section or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May.

Chromebook / IT Help

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 – 10:55) and from 2 to 2:25 pm outside the library entrance.

** Thursdays only, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:25PM **

Clubs

  • The Bible Study Club meets every Tuesday morning from 6:45am to 7:15am in the 254. You can enter through
    the Counseling Doors and head to Room 254. We will have Bibles and breakfast snacks available. We

  • The Biology Olympiad Study Club meetings take place every other Tuesday after school and every Monday during homeroom in Mr. LaBar’s room (112).   • Habitat for Humanity will be selling Celsius drinks ($3) and donuts ($2) Thursday mornings before school in the HIVE.
  • The Interact Club will continue to collect soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Please drop off tabs in the container outside of room 216.

Athletics

The Emmaus High School Football Program is on the lookout for a few Place Kickers and Punters to join our team for the upcoming Fall 2025 season!

If you have a strong leg and a passion for sports, this could be a great opportunity to get involved and make a difference on the field! Soccer players—your skills might be a perfect fit!

What You Need to Know:

  • Practice Schedule: 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 3:30 – 5:00 PM during the fall.
  • Game Nights: Varsity plays every Friday at 7:00 PM. JV Games are Mondays at 4:30
  • Experience: Soccer experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Coaching Support: Work closely with our on-staff kicking coach/instructor to develop your skills.
