Class of 2028 Fundraiser

The class of 2028 is holding a fundraiser at Panera Bread on Friday October 24 from 4-8pm at the Panera Location at 6379 Hamilton Boulevard (Next to Chik-fil-a).  All funds raised go to 2028’s Junior Prom and Senior Ball.  Use code FUND4U online, in the app, or at the kiosk in store

Pumpkin Decorating Contest-Join the Fun!

Entry Fee: $30 per team (cash or check to Emmaus High School, memo: Get ready for some fall fun!)

 Habitat for Humanity is hosting a Pumpkin Painting Contest on October 29th during homeroom in the cafeteria!

Form a team of up to six friends and show off your creativity to win prizes for Most Creative, Most Festive, or Best Overall! 

All supplies are provided—just bring your school spirit (and your painting skills)!

Sign-up: One team member should submit the form by October 25th.

(Habitat for Humanity / your name & ID)—turn in to Mrs. Russo in Room 229 by October 25th.

Once you’re signed up, you’ll get a confirmation email to use as your homeroom pass for the event.

Animal Food Drive

The Interact Club is hosting an animal food drive for the Animal Food Bank of Lehigh Valley, which will be donated to families in need. The food drive will be accepting collections from October 1 to November 1 in the box outside of Room 216, Mrs. Kaunitz’s room. We are collecting primarily dry and wet cat and dog food, but pet food for smaller pets is also accepted and greatly appreciated. Military Recruiter Visits

Starting October 1st, 2025, Emmaus High will be hosting military recruiters, allowing for the opportunity to speak with students who are interested in pursuing a path with the Armed Forces. The recruiters will be set up between Cafe 1 and Cafe 2 for the duration of Block 3 on the following recurring weekdays each month:

Army – 1st Thursday of the month

Marine Corps – 1st Wednesday of the month

Air Force – 2nd Tuesday of the month

Navy – 1st Tuesday of the month

Army National Guard – 2nd Wednesday of the month

Coast Guard – 3rd Monday of the month

If you are interested in speaking with any of the recruiters, please visit their table set up during your lunch period. If you have any further questions, please reach out to Mrs. Jessica Durnin.

Peer Tutoring

If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the 2025-26 Student Tutoring Request Form.  Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in the Library.  Please visit your “Class of” Schoology Group for more information.

Fall Play

Tickets for EHS’s fall play, The Diary of Anne Frank, are now on sale.  Tickets can be purchased on the EHS website.  Prices are $12 for students and senior citizens and $14 for adults.  The show will run November 6,7, & 8 at 7PM in the EHS auditorium.  Come out to support our cast and crew!

An unforgettable adventure in Italy & Greece! We’re thrilled to share that an Emmaus High School group is heading to Italy & Greece in June 2027, and we’d love for your student to join us! Academic Support for All Students

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Teachers and some students are available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.   If needed, there is a late bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:15. If students need to utilize the late bus, they must sign up on this form LATE BUS SIGN UPS before 10 am on the day they need to take the bus. We hope our students take advantage of this great opportunity to help them succeed academically at EHS!

Late Bus

The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays. The bus picks up around 3:15pm at door #4.  You may only use the late bus for clubs or detention.

Sign up online using the  Late Bus Sign Up in Schoology under the Materials section or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May.  The form will only accept responses on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:23am until the 10:30am deadline**

Chromebook / IT Help

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 – 10:55) and from 2 to 2:30 pm outside the library entrance.

** Mondays only, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:30PM **

Home Football Game Reminder

Re-entry to the stadium is not permitted. Once you leave the stadium you may not return without paying another entry fee.

Best Mates

Best Mates is an organization that fosters opportunities for people with disabilities to form one-to-one friendships with students without disabilities. Best Mates aims to positively impact the lives of people with disabilities by helping them feel valued and by building more inclusive communities from childhood through adulthood. Best Mates envisions a world where people with disabilities are successfully integrated into schools and have long-lasting friendships! Please consider joining our club and attending our first meeting on Thursday, October 30th, after school from 2:35 – 3:30 in the MMR. 

Chess Club

The Emmaus HS Chess Club is proud to announce their first annual Lehigh Valley Fall Open and Scholastic 8:30-3:00 Saturday, November 8, 2025 in the EHS cafeteria.  This is a high-level chess tournament that is expected to draw adult and scholastic players from a wide area.  Please forward this to any chess players that you believe may be interested in playing in the tournament.  This tournament benefits the EHS Chess Club and Myerstown Chess Club.

Bible Study

We meet Wednesday mornings in Room 254 from 6:45-7:10am (you can enter through the counseling doors) and Thursday afternoons in Room 229 from 2:30-3:15pm. 

SAT Prep

The math club will be offering SAT Prep for all EHS students interested in working on their SAT & PSAT test taking skills.  SAT Prep will be offered every Friday during homeroom in the MMR.  If interested, please join the Schoology group QPVB-R6P5-VTM9B and then register to attend on the schoology group page.

Interact Club

The Interact Club will continue to collect soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Tabs can be dropped off outside of 216. 

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity will meet after school at 2:30 Tuesday, October 21, 2025 in room 229. 

Habitat for Humanity will be selling donuts for $2 and Celsius for $3 before school in the HIVE Thursday mornings. Bring cash. 

Instant Decision Day

This year, ten colleges/universities are going to be hosting Instant Decision Days at Emmaus High School. This opportunity is for Seniors only! Listed down below are the dates that each college will be on campus, please know that you MUST sign up on the Google form linked below AND apply to the specific college. The Google form will be closed one week before the university visits, so please be mindful about signing up before the deadline.
