EHS Red Cross Club

Did you know that a blood transfusion is needed every two seconds in the U.S.? EHS Red Cross Club is promoting Miller-Keystone Blood Donation Centers. If you donate blood and have proof, come to room 16 (Montepeque) for a bag of candy! Additionally, you’ll get a T-shirt from Miller-Keystone at the donation site.  See the fliers posted around the school to scan the QR code for more information.

Operation Giggles

The Interact club is proud to announce the start of Operation Giggles’ winter collection! We are collecting any new or unused toys starting now through December 20th and will be donating them to the Lehigh Valley Riley Children’s Hospital. There will be boxes that you can drop the toys off at by Mrs. Kaunitz’s room 216. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Peyton Kilka (pkilka26@eastpennsd.org). Peer Tutoring

If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the 2024-25 Student Tutoring Request Form.  Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Library.  Please visit your “Class of” Schoology Group for more information.

School Store

Attention Hornets! School Store is open Tuesday through Friday blocks 1-4 and closed during homeroom. Students should visit during Study Halls only and obtain a special pass through their study hall proctors.

After School Homework Help

EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2024). Teachers will be available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in academic performance and overall confidence at school. 

Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their classes for the remainder of the school year.  Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.

Late Bus

Sign up online using the Late Bus Google Form in Schoology under the Materials section or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May.

Chromebook / IT Help

The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 – 10:55) and from 2 to 2:25 pm outside the library entrance.

** Thursdays only, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:25PM **

Clubs

  • FRENCH CLUB meeting THURSDAY Dec. 19th for a holiday potluck. Check the schoology group for details. Don’t forget your membership dues. See you at 2:30 in room #17
  • The first contest of the American Computer Science League runs from now until January 9th. Any students interested in participating in the contest should email Mrs. Stoudt. Students, please check your school email for emails from Hackerrank
  • The Biology Olympiad Study Club meetings take place every other Tuesday after school and every Monday during homeroom in Mr. LaBar’s room (112).   • The Bible Study Club meets every Tuesday morning from 6:45am to 7:15am in the MMR. You can enter through
    the MAIN OFFICE DOORS and head to the MMR. We will have Bibles and breakfast snacks available. We

  • Club Med: You’re invited to join Club Med. Meetings will be held the first and third Tuesday of the month in room 140 after school. Join our Schoology group: D4FH-57MD-DQQJS
  • Habitat for Humanity will be selling Celsius drinks ($3) and donuts ($2) Thursday mornings before school in the HIVE.
  • The Interact Club will continue to collect soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Please drop off tabs in the container outside of room 216.
