Midterms
Midterms
EHS will operate on an “open-campus” policy, meaning that students are only required to be at school during the times when they are scheduled to take midterm exams, and are welcome to arrange their own transportation to and from school. The only dates that will follow the open campus schedule are the three designated midterm exam dates. Below are the designated dates for the midterm exams:
Thursday, January 19th – Blocks 4A, 1B, and 2B
Friday, January 20th – Blocks 3B, 4B, and Make-Up Testing Session from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Testing Sessions 7:23 – 8:55 AM
9:10 – 10:40AM
10:45 – 11:20 AM – Lunch
11:30 – 1:00 PM
Monday, January 23rd, and Tuesday, January 24th – Midterm Exam Make-Up Testing Session
January 23rd and 24th, which are the make-up exam dates, are also regular school days; all students are in attendance on those days. As done in previous school years, the make-up dates for midterm exams have always followed a regular bell schedule for all students.
No Hornet Homeroom will be held on midterm exam dates.
LCTI Students:
CAP and Academic Center LCTI students will report to LCTI per their regular schedule during midterm exam days.
AM and PM LCTI students will remain at EHS for their scheduled midterm exams, and will not report to LCTI
Chromebook / IT Help
There will be NO Chromebook / IT help during Midterms: Wednesday 1/18, Thursday  1/19/ and Friday 1/20.
Athletics

- With the Boys Volleyball season right around the corner we will be holding open gyms in preperation of the upcoming season. Open gyms are not mandatory but highly encouraged to get ready for Tryouts. The dates for open gyms are as followed and will be held in the AUX GYM. You will need to bring with you Intramural Activities Parental Consent Form which can be found on the athletics website. EHS School Store
The store will be closed tomorrow through exams (for semester changes) and will reopen again on Monday, January 23.
Clubs
- The eSports Club will be hosting a Mario Kart tournament after Mid-terms on Thursday, January 19, from 1:30-3:30 in room 375. Flyers with a sign-up QR code can be found hung throughout the building. There will be a $5 registration fee to participate and the winner will receive a Mario Kart t-shirt and a $20 Wawa gift card. All participants will be guaranteed 3 games. Any questions can be directed to Mr. Dietrick in room 375.
- Habitat for Humanity will meet January 24th after school at 2:30 in room 513. Everyone is welcome.
- Key Club will have its next meeting on 1/25 in Cafe I from 2:30-3. This will be our regular monthly meeting and t-shirt pick-up if you missed it. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Thanks, Mrs. Kaunitz
- EHS Fitness Team practices are Mon-Wed-Fri after school, 2:45-4:15 and we
welcome anyone who wants to have fun with others while putting in the
time to improve their fitness. There are some competitions with a
