Picture Retake Day
Picture retake day will be on Wednesday, October 16th from 7a-10:30a & 2:25-4:00pm. If a student is unhappy with their original photo, they should bring their original photo package on Retake Day. A new package with the updated photo will be printed and delivered to the school. New students or those who missed the original photo day can use the code on the flyer to place their orders.

East Penn Therapy Dogs
The East Penn Therapy Dog Program has been a great addition to our schools and has helped support students in tremendous ways! The Therapy Dog Program is funded by donations and we need support to help with the program’s success. There is an apparel fundraiser going on right now where a portion of the proceeds will go directly to help fund the program. The store is open through Oct. 28. Class Rings
Attention Students! The deadline to order your official Emmaus High School Class Ring is Thursday, October 17th! You can submit your order online at www.sscrings.com any time before then.
All orders received by the deadline will be delivered in school this December!
All ordering materials are available on the website, but if you need a “hard” copy packet they are available in the main office.
Attention Sophomores
Any 10th grader who is interested in leadership development training at the 2024-2025 HOBY Leadership Seminar, please complete an application via this Google Form. All forms must be completed by Thursday, Oct. 24th, no exceptions. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Spotts in the counseling office. Best of luck!
Adjusted Schedule on October 15, 2024 due to PSAT Testing at EHS
EHS is pleased to be able to offer PSAT testing during the school day for students who have already registered for the test. Due to the number of students testing, the school will run on a 3-hour delayed schedule on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
TESTING STUDENTS:
- Please make sure to bring your ChromeBook to school, Wednesday, October 15th, charged and ready to use for the PSAT.
- Students should arrive at their normal time and report to their testing location by 7:20 am.
- Testing room locations will be emailed directly to the studens prior to 10/15 so make sure to check student emails.
- Bussing will run on the regular schedules. No additional bus runs will be provided.
NON-TESTING STUDENTS:
- Students who are not testing are permitted to arrive at school on a 3-hour delayed schedule if they can provide their own transportation.
- Students without their own transportation are still able to take their normal bus to school at the regular time and will be supervised in a study hall for the duration of the 3 hour delay.
- All Day and AM LCTI students should report at the regular time so they can report to LCTI as normal. Upon their return they will report to a study hall in the cafeteria until 3rd Block begins at 11:45am.
- PM LCTI students will be dismissed from 1st Block at regular time (10:45am) and DCO students will also be dismissed at their regular time.
- Bussing will run on the regular schedules. No additional bus runs will be provided.

Peer Tutoring
If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the 2024-25 Student Tutoring Request Form. Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Library. Please visit your “Class of” Schoology Group for more information.

The EHS School Store is open during HHR and closed Thursdays. Stop by and get Hornet merch and game themed merchandise. Cash or check only.
Summer Travel Opportunity
Come to room 016 after school on 10/24 & 10/29 to meet and greet students who are interested in traveling to Spain in Portugal in 2026. The late bus runs both days, fill out the form if you need transportation.
Instant Decision Day
Hello Seniors, This fall, Emmaus is hosting multiple universities for an Instant Decision Day. An Instant Decision Day, also known as an On-Site Decision Day, is an event where students are able to receive an immediate admissions decision from a college or university. Instant decisions are non-binding, you are still able to apply to other colleges to look at different options! If you are interested in attending one of these events, please click the link on the college or university that you would like to sign up for. You MUST complete the google form that is linked below to the universities as well as submit an application to the university itself. Once you have signed up for one or multiple Instant Decision Days you will receive an email confirmation and more information will be emailed to you as the event date approaches. After School Homework Help
EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2024). Teachers will be available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in academic performance and overall confidence at school.
Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their classes for the remainder of the school year. Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.
Late Bus
Sign up online using the Late Bus Google Form in Schoology under the Materials section or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May.
Chromebook / IT Help
The IT department will hold Chromebook support for students during Hornet Homeroom (10:18 – 10:55) and from 2 to 2:25 pm outside the library entrance.
** Thursdays only, there will be NO tech support during Hornet homeroom, ONLY AT 2-2:25PM **
Clubs
- Math League-Do you like solving logic problems and puzzles? Come on out and join our Math League Club. The first math competition of the year is TODAY Tuesday October 15th after school in room 224. All student are welcome!
- Join the EHS Activism Club on Thursday, October 17th, after school to encourage students to vote by chalking up the outside walkways of the school. Chalk will be available, so please bring yourself and your friends! We will meet in Mrs. Kinzel’s room (224) before we go outside.
- The GRATITUDE CLUB will have a regular meeting on Wednesday, October 16th at 2:35 in room #118. New members are always welcome. Our club spreads positivity and gratitude throughout Emmaus High School and the surrounding community. This is a student-driven club in which the members work together toward common goals they would like to accomplish including volunteer work, charity collections, and other great ways to spread the message of gratitude. We hope to see you there!
- Habitat for Humanity will meet after school at 2:30 in room 229 on Tuesday, October 15.
- Club Med: You’re invited to join Club Med. Meetings will be held the first and third Tuesday of the month in room 140 after school. Join our Schoology group: D4FH-57MD-DQQJS
- Please join us for our October Global Citizens meetings! Thursdays, October 17 and 31 after school in room 013 by the locker commons. Make a new friend, learn something new, expand your sense of belonging.
- The Bible Study Club meets every Tuesday morning from 6:45am to 7:15am in room 254. You can enter through the doors by the counseling suite and head to Room 254. We will have Bibles and breakfast snacks available. We hope to see you there! Bible Study Club Schoology Code: 22D5-XNX5-J3Q24
- Habitat for Humanity will be selling Celsius drinks ($3) and donuts ($2) Thursday mornings before school in the HIVE.
- The Interact Club will continue to collect soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Please drop off tabs in the container outside of room 216.

Home Football Game Reminder: Re-entry to the stadium is not permitted. Once you leave the stadium you may not return without paying another entry fee.
