The Steering Team

The steering team is a group of about twenty people who represent the different constituencies who have a stake in Emmaus High School’s success. This team is the central decision-making body in the accreditation process. Its role is to evaluate the school’s mission and vision, identify needs and set goals. It then directs the work of a variety of teams who will work to generate plans to help our organization meet those goals.

Members of the steering team meet monthly. Between meetings, they are expected to seek feedback from other members of their stakeholder group (parents, students, teachers, or community members) to ensure that their work on the team reflects their group’s interests.
