The Emmaus High School Theater Department will present Little Women by Kate Hamill. The play, an adaptation of the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, will be presented on November 2,3, and 4 at 7:00 PM in the EHS auditorium. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens, and can be reserved online via the EHS website beginning October 18. Tickets will also be available at the door. Senior citizen gold card holders may present gold cards in the EHS main office or at the door to receive a complimentary ticket to any performance.

As she and her sisters grow up in the middle of the Civil War, they strive to be brave, intelligent, and imaginative young women. But as adulthood approaches, each sister must negotiate her private ambitions with society’s expectations. In a war-torn world defined by gender, class, and personal tragedy, Jo March gives us her greatest story: that of the March sisters, four dreamers destined to be imperfect little women.
