The school counseling office holds multiple events throughout the year to assist students and their families as well as to provide them with needed information to navigate through EHS and for life after graduation. Below is a listing of the events and a brief description in order of their dates.
Post-Secondary Planning Night – September 19, 2024
During this program, our region’s Higher Education Access Partner from PHEAA, Michael Burke present to families regarding Financial Aid. He provided us with a detailed PowerPoint presentation that can be found here: Mr. Burke’s Presentation on the 2025-2026 FAFSA. In our second session of the night, families had the opportunity to attend a live demonstration Introduction to Naviance for families of 9th and 10th grade students or a Naviance presentation for parents of 11th and 12th grade students on the college and career research tools in Naviance and the college application process for EHS. 8th to 9th Grade Family Welcome Night – January 15, 2025
This Family Welcome Night for current 8th grade students and their families/guardians is intended to provide eighth grade students and their parents with information that will help ease the transition from middle school to high school. This event is specifically for current 8th grade students and families that are hoping to learn more about Emmaus High School.

FAFSA Completion Night – February 5, 2025
The EHS School Counselors host a FAFSA completion night with Financial Aid experts. Students and their families must have acquired their FSA ID (studentaid.gov) account prior to this event in order to have the ability to complete the FAFSA.
College Fair – April 24, 2025
Our College Fair is held annually. All students and parents are welcome to attend and interact with over 125 representatives from colleges, military branches, trade unions, and technical schools. Our list of attendees will be posted on our homepage and updated periodically as the fair gets closer.
