The ACT Assessment is designed to measure high school students’ college readiness and is made up of multiple-choice tests that cover four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science. The writing test, which is optional, measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.
Most four-year colleges and universities in the United States require the ACT or SAT for admissions purposes.
Emmaus High School will be offering the ACT on April 11, 2026. **ACT has made the decision to consolidate testing centers for the April 11th administration and EHS will no longer be an available testing center. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; please reach out to ACT with any questions or concerns.
