Summer Maintenance Employment
The Facilities Department is accepting applications for summer maintenance employment from 6/23/25-8/15/25
(8 WEEKS). If you are a student and interested in being one of our 15 summer maintenance employees, applications are available on the East Penn School District Website. You may also pick up an application in the main office and/or guidance office of Emmaus High School. Applicants must be an East Penn resident 16 years of age or older and continuing their education in high school or college. The hourly rate is $12.50/hr. with a maximum of 320 hours. DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS IS FRIDAY-APRIL 4, 2025
Field Study
Any current 10th and 11th grade student interested in participating in the Field Study program for the 25-26 school year must complete the program application found in the Class of Schoology group or on our program website. The application is now open and will close on March 31st. Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Duffy at kduffy@eastpennsd.org.
International Travel – Iceland June 2025 (Final days to Enroll)
Traverse this legendary landscape and leave forever inspired by the other-worldly beauty of Iceland. This Nordic oasis transforms mundane into extraordinary. During our student trip to Iceland, we will stroll amid active glaciers, bathe in steaming lagoons, visit waterfalls and volcanos, and feel the welcoming warmth of the local people. STEM Trip
Are you interested in a STEM trip to London and Paris? The trip will include various science-based tourist locations such as the Royal Observatory at Greenwich, London Science Museum, London Eye, Eiffel Tower, and a day at Disneyland Paris. The trip is scheduled for June 22-July 2 2026. Please contact Mr. Ohl in room 141 with any questions or stop by for an informational flyer about the trip.
Spring Musical
Tickets for EHS’s Spring Musical, Mamma Mia, are now available on the EHS website. Tickets are $12 for students and senior citizens, and $14 for adults. The show runs April 2-5 at 7PM and April 5 and 6 at 2PM in the EHS auditorium. Get your tickets before we sell out!
LCTI
LCTI applications are now open for next school year. Please see the purple Scheduling folder in your Schoology “Class of” account for more information and the link to the application. If you currently attend LCTI and plan to attend again next year, you do not need to complete a new application for next school year. The deadline for submitting LCTI applications for next year is March 1st.
KU Early College Academy
Thinking about becoming a teacher? Want to make an impact in students’ lives? EHS’s Field Study program in partnership with Kutztown University is offering a unique opportunity for students who plan to major in Education in college to get an early start on their coursework. Through the KU Early College Academy students can take college level Education courses at the university for college credit and receive EHS Field Study credit at the same time. If you are a current sophomore or junior and would like to learn more about this exciting program, please plan to attend an informational meeting in the MMR on Tuesday February 25th during Homeroom. Kutztown representatives will be on hand to review the program and answer questions. You may also contact the Field Study Coordinator, Mrs. Duffy, at kduffy@eastpennsd.org with questions.

EHS Red Cross Club
Did you know that a blood transfusion is needed every two seconds in the U.S.? EHS Red Cross Club is promoting Miller-Keystone Blood Donation Centers. If you donate blood and have proof, come to room 16 (Montepeque) for a bag of candy! Additionally, you’ll get a T-shirt from Miller-Keystone at the donation site. See the fliers posted around the school to scan the QR code for more information.

Peer Tutoring
If you are interested in meeting with a tutor, please complete the 2024-25 Student Tutoring Request Form. Peer Tutoring will be offered during HHR on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Library. Please visit your “Class of” Schoology Group for more information.
After School Homework Help
EHS is offering free after-school help twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays 2024). Teachers will be available to help with homework, studying for exams, or improving the understanding of course material. Taking advantage of this resource can make a significant difference in academic performance and overall confidence at school.
Teachers will be available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 -3:30 in the EHS library. They are happy and excited to help students succeed in their classes for the remainder of the school year. Students do NOT need to sign up in advance. They just need to come to the library at 2:30 and make sure they have transportation home at 3:30.
Late Bus
Sign up online using the Late Bus Google Form in Schoology under the Materials section or on the EHS website under Morning Announcements, there is a link under the Late Bus post. The late bus will run Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of May.

Clubs
- The Biology Olympiad Study Club meetings take place every other Tuesday after school and every Monday during homeroom in Mr. LaBar’s room (112). Athletics
The Emmaus High School Football Program is on the lookout for a few Place Kickers and Punters to join our team for the upcoming Fall 2025 season!
If you have a strong leg and a passion for sports, this could be a great opportunity to get involved and make a difference on the field! Soccer players—your skills might be a perfect fit!
What You Need to Know:
- Practice Schedule: 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 3:30 – 5:00 PM during the fall.
- Game Nights: Varsity plays every Friday at 7:00 PM. JV Games are Mondays at 4:30
- Experience: Soccer experience is helpful, but not required.
- Coaching Support: Work closely with our on-staff kicking coach/instructor to develop your skills.
