Mr. Marc Zimmerman
Assistant Principal for Grades 9-12
Mr. Zimmerman is a proud graduate of the East Penn School District, Class of 1999. After graduating from Emmaus High School, he attended Moravian University where he graduated with a degree in psychology and elementary education. In 2012, Mr. Zimmerman received his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University. He spent twelve years as a classroom teacher all in the Bethlehem Area School District. His first nine years in education were at the elementary level where he taught 4th grade at William Penn Elementary and Governor Wolf Elementary. He spent the next three years teaching 7th and 8th grade mathematics and social studies at Broughal Middle School. During his time in the classroom, he coached both football and track and field at a few schools throughout the Lehigh Valley. Mr. Zimmerman’s first administrative position was Assistant Athletic and Activities Director at Emmaus High School from 2016-2018. He held the position of Athletic Director at Southern Lehigh High School from 2018-2023, where he oversaw all district athletic programs at the middle and high school level. He was excited to return to Emmaus High School in the 2023-2024 school year as an Assistant Principal.
