On Tuesday, September 20, 2022 the East Penn School District held a cross country course dedication event for the new course location at Camp Olympic off of Cedar Crest Boulevard in Emmaus. The ceremony took place prior to the start of the cross country race.
Statement from Rebecca George: “We are excited for the start of a new adventure for the Emmaus Cross Country Programs. The Lower Macungie Township has been outstanding to work with as this plan has been months in the making to bring the course up to par and be able to call it home. In talking with Head Coach Kami Reinhard, she too has been very supportive of the idea and has been instrumental in helping make this come to fruition. The course is an all-natural grass with challenging slopes to navigate.”
