EHS Students Place at the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association Automotive Skills Competition

On Saturday February 11th, LCTI Automotive Technology students Reid Scharer and Christian Roth, both Seniors from Emmaus High School, attended The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealer’s Association Automotive Skills Competition held at Northampton Community College.  The team earned a second place finish. Both Students earned a 50 percent scholarship to Universal Technical Institute, hand tools, and a trophy.  They also have the potential to earn a scholarship from the Auto Dealer’s association as well.  

Both students are also currently participating in the LCTI Cooperative Education Program and the ASE Education Foundation Internship Program (formerly AYES).  Christian is a technician at Scott Chevrolet, and Reid is a technician at Rothrock Dodge Chrysler Jeep and Ram.
