Emmaus High School Boys Soccer Head Coach John Cari has made Lehigh Valley soccer history, becoming the winningest boys soccer coach in the region.
Now in his 22nd season leading the Hornets, Cari earned his 365th?? career victory following Emmaus’ win over Dieruff, surpassing the previous Lehigh Valley record of 364 wins held by longtime Salisbury coach Mark Allinson.
Throughout more than two decades at Emmaus, Cari has built a tradition of success that extends far beyond his impressive win total. Under his leadership, the Green Hornets have captured numerous league and district championships, while Cari has earned multiple coaching honors, including Conference and Morning Call Coach of the Year recognition.
Cari’s impact on East Penn extends beyond the soccer field. He also serves the District as an eighth-grade English teacher at Lower Macungie Middle School, making his decades of service to East Penn students both in the classroom and through athletics especially meaningful.
