Emmaus High School Students To Compete In State History Day Competition

The EHS History Day Club is proud to announce that six of its members have been selected to participate in this year’s PA State History Day competition.  Students from around Pennsylvania will assemble at the University of Scranton on May 7 and 8 to present and defend their research projects.  Please congratulate the following students and wish them well on their upcoming event! 

Exhibit Categories:

  • First Place- Group Exhibit- Region 6: Samantha Loeper (12th grade) and Jack Freemont (12th grade)– “Athenian Democracy” 
  • First Place- Individual Exhibit-Region 6: James Day (11th grade)– “ Operation Eagle Claw” 

Documentary Categories:

  • First Place- Group Documentary: Nadia Anthony(11th grade) and Julia McDonnell (11th grade)– “Conrad Weiser” 
  • Second Place- Individual Documentary: Lauren Kershner (11th grade)– “The Nuremberg Trials”
