Lower Macungie Middle School has been recognized with the Outstanding Editing Award at the 2026 What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® Student Video Contest.
What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® is a regional, student-driven program that introduces middle school students to modern manufacturing careers. Through the program, student teams partner with local companies to produce short videos that showcase the innovation, technology, and career opportunities within the industry.
LMMS students took part in this hands-on experience by collaborating with a local manufacturer to create an engaging two-minute video. Their project demonstrated exceptional storytelling, creativity, and technical editing skills—earning recognition among schools across the Lehigh Valley.
This achievement highlights the talent, teamwork, and real-world learning experiences of our students. We are incredibly proud of their work and the way they continue to represent East Penn with excellence.
