Welcome to East Penn
We’re glad your family is joining us. Register your child online, gather the documents you’ll need, and find the school your child will attend.
2026–2027 school year
Register online
Kindergarten, new students and incoming 9th graders all register through the 2026–2027 Registration Portal. The portal is also available for Spanish speakers.
Before you start
- Please don’t autofill during the online registration process.
- One child at a time: register each child individually.
- Uploading documents: upload a PDF from a computer, or take a picture of the document and email it to yourself.
- Returning students who attended East Penn before need to register again.
Who’s registering?
Whatever grade your child is starting, registration begins in the same online portal.
Starting school
Kindergarten
Register your kindergartener through the 2026–2027 Registration Portal. After you register, your elementary school will invite you and your student to a kindergarten orientation in the spring.
New to East Penn
New students
To register a new student starting in the 2026–2027 school year, use the 2026–2027 Registration Portal.
Starting high school
Incoming 9th grade
Incoming 9th grade registration is open. To register your child, use the 2026–2027 Registration Portal.
What you’ll need to register
Have these ready before you start. You’ll upload them during the online registration.

Two proofs of residency
Showing that the child’s legal parent or guardian lives in the East Penn School District.

Parent or guardian photo ID
A valid photo ID for the child’s parent or guardian.

Which school will my child attend?
Look up your elementary school assignment by your housing development or by street name.

I have more than one child. Can I register them at the same time?
You will need to register each child individually.
My child attended East Penn before. Do I need to register again?
Yes. Use the 2026–2027 Registration Portal to begin your student’s registration.
What do I need if I don’t have an official lease with the property owner?
An Affidavit of Landlord.
What do I need if my family is living with a resident in town?
What do I need if my child will be living with a resident in town?
You will need to fill in Form 1302 (PDF).
I don’t live in the East Penn School District. Can my child attend if I pay tuition?
No. East Penn School District is only open to East Penn resident children. We do not accept out-of-town students on a tuition basis.

Please note: Beginning with the academic year 2020–2021, compulsory school age shall mean no later than age six (6) until age eighteen (18).
