EHS Students Earn Keystone Media Awards

The Student Keystone Media Awards contest recognizes high school and college journalism that provides relevance, integrity, and initiative in serving readers. Any student at any public, private or parochial Pennsylvania high school, college or university who has had their material published in the school newspaper may enter the contest. Students who have had their work published on a digital news site may enter the contest provided the site meets the criteria as outlined in the contest rules.

Category Winners:

  • Second Place General News-Zoe Hulings- Emmaus High School The Stinger– Teacher Shortage affects Social Studies Classes at EHS
  • Second Place Ongoing News Coverage-Ayaan Shah and Carina McCallum- Emmaus High School The Stinger– EPSD School Board
  • Second Place Cartoon/Graphic Illustration- Clara Isom- Emmaus High School The Stinger– Students must speak to their future: Giving students a voice in our school board election
  • Honorable Mention Public Service/Enterprise Package- Keira Davies- Emmaus High School The Stinger– Let their voices be heard: Students of Emmaus share their stories of sexual assault

Awards will be presented during an awards luncheon event on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at WITF’s Public Media Center.
